Cycle the scenic back roads of picturesque Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Dorchester County, MD.  

Choice of 4 flat routes; 11 mile, 37 mile, the famous 56 mile Ironman Eagleman course or our beautiful 100 mile century course that takes you through quaint townships, along the Chesapeake Bay and back through serene woodlands.  

First 1,000 registered participants will receive a specially designed event tech tee shirt on the day of the event.

Continental Breakfast at the park from 6 to 10 AM.
Rest stops are manned with water, Gatorade, sustenance and smiling volunteers.

Picnic in the Park upon your return from 11 to 4:30 PM and is included in the registration fee. Hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, salads and baked goods plus beverages and entertainment to top off your Six Pillars experience.

Online registration opens October 1, 2015. Special early rate is $45 until December 31, 2015. The cost of registration is $55 per person through February 28, 2016; $60 person through March 31, 2016; $70 per person through April 30, 2016; and $80 per person through May 5, 2016 at 11:59 PM when registration closes. Registration for Family Ride is $45 with a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under age 18. Students under the age of 18 is $15 for Family Ride only. In Park registration (cash, check and MC and VISA accepted) will be held on Friday, May 6 from 3 to 7 PM and on Saturday, May 7 starting at 6 AM for $90 per person.

The event will support Character Counts Mid-Shore, Inc., an agency which is best known for providing the Winners Walk Tall Program to over 8,100 students in the public schools in Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester counties free of charge. Over 300 trained volunteers, known as Character Coaches, visit classrooms each week to deliver lessons based on the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. For 18 years, character lessons have had a positive impact on the behavior of youth in the schools on the Mid Shore.
