"Cycling has taken me to spectacular locations around the country and the world that I otherwise never would have seen," said Farm to Fork founder Tyler Wren, who rode professionally from 2002 to 2014.

"With Wrenegade Sports, I am working to share that same sense of discovery from the seat of a bicycle by creating exciting events in beautiful, secluded areas."

The Finger Lakes region in Central New York sits below Lake Ontario between Rochester, Syracuse and Ithica around 250 miles NNW of New York City and 125 miles East of Buffalo.

It is named for the 11 narrow lakes running north-south created by glaciation. The Finger Lakes is home to around 100 wineries and vineyards including two of America's oldest, O-Neh-Da Vineyard The Pleasant Valley Wine Company, which date back to the Civil War era.

A thriving food scene has developed to make the most of the diverse mix of local farms and the wines of the area.
