The Assenmacher 100 is a recreational and social fun bicycle ride through the farmland and villages of mid-Michigan. Started in 1980, it has become one of Michigan's premier century rides.

It is held each year on the third Sunday in August. There are courses for experienced cyclists as well as the casual rider. It has become a popular DALMAC warm up ride. Come on out for a great ride!

New for 2018 we will be starting and finishing at the Swartz Creek Middle School Parking Lot located at the end of Fairchild St. across Cappy Lane.

Five scenic, paved, bike-friendly routes are available.

  • 20 miles flat
  • 34 miles flat to rolling hills
  • 56 miles flat to rolling hills
  • 100+ kilometers (66 miles) flat to rolling hills
  • 100 miles (Century) flat to moderate hills.

Rest stop refreshments, maps, turn by turn directions, and support vehicles will be on all routes until 3:00 PM. All routes will be marked with our new, improved, unique color coded "A" road arrows. The routes are designed to coincide so, depending on the distances, you will be able to ride with riders doing various distances.

We Are Having A Party! Come celebrate your successful completion of the 39th Assenmacher with us after the ride. Enjoy Flint Style coney dogs, snacks, good music and company at the school.

$20 after 8/1/2018 and day of ride.
