Mainly Recreational. Partially Competitive. Entirely Awesome.

The Northeast Ohio city of Akron is the 4th stop in this year’s FCCUSA. It’s a region well known to cyclists, history buffs, foodies, music aficionados, nature lovers, sports fans and art enthusiasts. Positioned within a day’s drive of half of the nation’s population, Akron will attract cyclists from nearby Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Detroit and other large regional markets.

All event activities are held at Lock 3 in downtown, site of Akron’s biggest festivals and community events. During the ride you’ll experience the colorful scenic river valleys of the Cuyahoga and Tuscarawas and pass the beautifully preserved Ohio and Erie Canalway. Expect a few challenging hills to elevate your heart rate but expect some nice descents too!

Fondo Cycling Circuit USA is a six-city event series attracting both recreational and competitive cyclists who compete in one of three distances: 30 miles, 50 miles or 75 miles.

While more recreational in nature, several timed sections along each route offer a competitive element for cyclists looking for a challenge. In the end, it’s all about personal achievement!

The two-day event is comprised of a retail expo, athlete check-in and late registration on Saturday followed by the rides on Sunday. Each FCCUSA event culminates with a food truck & craft beer festival and live music.

Each registered cyclist receives a t-shirt, sling bag, finisher medal, water bottle, tickets to the food trucks and craft beer, plus other amenities.

Price increases after September 13.
