Gran Fondo NJ offers five routes of increasing levels of challenge, from the extremely challenging Gran Fondo down to the relatively relaxed Breve Fondo. We were one of, if not the first, Gran Fondo to offer a Breve length route for those not up to the challenge of a longer route, but wanting to partake in the festive atmosphere of a Gran Fondo.

Our goal is for you to have fun, be challenged, and never have to look at a cue sheet during your ride. Each of our six rest stops is stocked with the usual fare you would expect on a challenging ride, and featured treats that will surprise you. With timing only on the hill climbs, we offer a serious athletic challenge for our competitive participants, with the ability to wait at the tops of the climbs for others in your group without worrying about "losing time".

A surprise to many, Gran Fondo NJ offers some of the most beautiful and challenging cycling terrain in the east. Our 62-mile Medio route was named by the editors of Bicycling Magazine to their list of "The 50 Best Rides in America."

What is included in your registration:

• Free "Day of" Parking for up to 3,000 cars at the Start-Finish/Expo Area
• Five amazingly scenic, challenging and well-marked routes to choose from
• A personalized Gran Fondo NJ Bib Number
• The traditional Gran Fondo Mass Start with 2,000+ riders
• Back-country rural roads
• Route signage marking every turn, Cue Sheets, a top-tube sticker, Route Maps at each of our Rest Stops, and police and marshalls at critical intersections to guide you on your way
• Chip-timing on the key climbs of Gran, Migrane, Medio and Piccolo Routes
• Signage on each of the timed hill climbs providing advance notification of when you are approaching the Start and Finish timing mats of the climb
• "Countdown Signage" indicating the distance remaining to the Finish Line
• Festive Rest Stops: The foods you expect at endurance cycling events (PBJ, Clif Bar Fuels and Fluids, a wide assortment of fresh fruits), plus a wide variety of specialty treats including wood-fired pizza, cannolis, espressos and affogatos
• SAG support and Mechanical Support at each Rest Stop
• KoM, QoM and Him/Her Awards and Presentation Ceremony
