We invite you to cycle quiet country roads, and see the beautiful countryside. Small country stores, old time churches, and REALLY FLAT ROADS. Not a hill in sight. Fabulous food stops with homemade goodies.
New this year, the ride will be part of Perquiman County's "RiverBash", a celebration of Perquimans County's 350 anniversay. Plans for a WIDE variety of fun events that weekend including a fish fry, art walk, wooden boat show, Coast Guard rescue demo, pirate re-enactment, craft show, live music and food trucks, and MORE. The event is sponsored by Historic Hertford, Inc, a NC Main St program. Money from ride will be used to revitalize downtown historic Hertford.
We always do a free dip of ice cream at our local historic pharmacy/lunch counter. We will feed you at the end! Since plans are still being worked out, not sure if that's us cooking hamburgers and hot dogs or including dinner with a food vendor that will be at the RiverBash.
