Mount Greylock Century

The MGBC is a 100 mile ride through the western hills of Massachusetts. The ride includes Mount Greylock the highest peak in MA and 3 other major climbs where low gearing is highly recommended (39-29 or much lower)

You won’t find a better ride, super challenging, absolutely beautiful views, and did we mention challenging! 100 miles, 10,000 ft vertical, the highest point in Massachusetts and that’s not all.

We have adjusted the pricing this year to $30, as we are not a big enough even to offer pro level support. Why pay $150 to go on a bike ride, when you can really enjoy the essence of a stress free ride, with friendly support that MGBC has offered for 20 years.  Beyond insurance, promotion and permit cost this will still allow for a few dollars to go to the Lenox Nordic Ski Team who help to support the event and provide a warm smile and much needed nutrition for your ride.

We won't be purchasing t-shirts this year, we do have a few left over from last year, so the first riders to arrive will receive a t-shirt (sizes and quantities are limited to what we have). 

What we do want to ensure a great day of riding on some of the best roads in Massachusetts. There will be PLENTY of good food, climbing, and time with new and old friends on the bike. There will be support from event organizers, for light repairs.

You can even camp at Notchview so that you can wake up and be ready to go. No Camp Fires allowed. Restrooms will be available/ no showers. We highly suggest a nominal donation to the Trustees for their generosity.
