The Gaston County Cyclists' annual Polar Bear Ride kicks off the year with three Routes to pick from:
All three routes travel the rural backroads of Gaston County - and in some places York County. There are a fair number of hills, but none that should defeat an amateur - or cause great pain to a seasoned rider.
Rest stops provided.
First 150 participants provided free lunch at Mayworth's Public House.
On-the-day registration add $5.
This ride is rain or shine. There will be no refunds due to weather.
