Restoration Ride will join the Alabama Backroads Century Series in its 4th year as a fund raising event for the Kymulga Grist Mill and Park in Alpine, Al., just outside of Childersburg.
In our first 3 yrs, money raised has helped the mill make improvements on the mill grounds, improve the supporting structure of the civil war era grist mill and improve RV camp areas.
The Restoration Ride will hosting a 101 mile, a 73 mile route, a 33 mile, and an 8 mile family fun ride for the 2018 Event.
Pre-ride breakfast will be served from 6:00am til 7:15am consisting of fresh cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatos, and biscuits and gravy! After your ride, return to the mill for a hot and fresh smoked pork shoulder, smoked chicken, home made deviled eggs, green beans, cole slaw and an un-believable banana pudding! Vegan dishes will be available as well!
Money raised will once again go to the preservation and upkeep of the Kymulga Grist Mill and Park!
