New for 2018
• Santa Fe Rail / Spur Trail all dirt route!!! The entire route is on multi-use paths closed to motorized vehicles.

• New larger venue at the Santa Fe Community College - ample parking for all! Cowgirl BBQ and Canteen Brewing will be providing food and drink in our beer garden.

Temporary route change for 100 mile rides (see map) is an out and back over Heartbreak Hill, completing with the 50 mile Galisteo Loop. The regular route will resume in 2019, after the completion of road construction on Highway 14.

Miles of history pass under your wheels as you bicycle down the ancient Turquoise Trail through the old mining towns of Madrid and Golden, across the mineral rich Ortiz and San Pedro Mountains, across the Estancia Valley through the villages of Cedar Grove and Stanley and on to the very old village of Galisteo, and back into scenic Santa Fe.  

The Santa Fe Century is the first major cycling event in the spring in the Southwest. The weather in May is moderate and provides an opportunity to shed the winter gear for some wonderful springtime riding in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The mission of the Santa Fe Century is to get people interested in cycling and to have fun doing it!

To Be Timed, or Not to Be Timed

The Century and the Gran Fondo and the Half-Century and Medio Fondo follow the same courses. Century and Half-century riders are not timed while Fondo riders are chip-timed. If you wish to ride timed, please register for the Fondos.

Each Fondo group will have its own start time and a neutral start. That means all riders in the same group will receive the same start time and a police escort in front and behind the group of riders will lead the Fondo to the city limits, at which time riders will be free to "launch."

Every rider will receive a Ride Kit that contains a Santa Fe Century Water Bottle, Bib and Helmet Numbers, and Route Maps with route instructions. Fondo riders will also receive a bicycle number which includes their timing chip.
