"The Sweetest Ride in Texas"

The bicycle tour that has made a tradition of great rest stops and super rider support returns. This is one event you don’t want to miss! There is a tour for everyone and you can enjoy the Waco Cultural Arts Fest before & after the tour.

A family tradition for people all over Texas, the Waco Wild West 100 has been around for 33 years. That’s a lot of candy!

All volunteer driven and a 501c3 nonprofit, the ride’s goals are to encourage and motivate people to cycle, to promote safe riding and camaraderie, as well as to donate to local nonprofits. Each rest station is manned by groups that contribute to our community and receive a small amount of the funds in appreciation for their supporting you on the routes. Additional funds raised over the years have been donated to Be the Match, our local bike club, veterans, our remote radio operators, school bike rodeos, and many, many more worthy causes. We look forward to the contributions we will be able to make with this year’s ride!

10-mile family friendly route goes through beautiful Cameron Park and downtown Waco. There are several rest stops to make it a fun ride for all.

25-mile route is also fun for families and recreational riders. This route is quite flat and passes by the Lake Waco Dam and the peaceful surrounding countryside.

50-mile route is relatively flat with a few challenging hills thrown in to keep you from getting bored!

67-mile route follows more of the 100 mile route and takes in some great rural roads.

100-mile route covers picturesque countryside on rural roads in McLennan and Bosque counties.  Although relatively flat, there are some challenging hills to keep your heart pumping.

You should be prepared to fix your own flats (carry a spare tube or tire repair kit). The SAG support team will help you if they see you on the routes or they get a call to come to you. We are covering over 200 miles of roadway so it might take a little while to get to you.

Each SAG support will have a “SAG #” displayed on the side of the vehicle.

Each rest stop will have a radio operator. If you need assistance at a rest stop let the radio operator know. They can also arrange for a pick up if you need a ride back to the Start/Finish area.

Program your cell phones for the SAG support number. 254-447-4740. We will have about 16 SAG support vehicles on the 5 ride courses to assist you however we can but have this number handy which will contact you to the WWW100 Command Center. The radio operator will direct the nearest SAG vehicle to your aid.
