Tour de Coulee

The 2018 Wisconsin Gran Fondo Series begins on June 9, 2018 in the “coulee region” just east of the Mississippi River in Sparta, Wisconsin. Located within the Driftless Zone of Southwestern Wisconsin, the Tour de Coulee is a cyclist’s paradise. Choose from one of three ride distances, Gran (101.0 mi), Milieu (64.4 mi) and Petit (34.3 mi).

The CIRCUS Gran Fondo (Baraboo, WI) and the Dairyland Dare (Dodgeville, WI) round out the Wisconsin Gran Fondo Series - three premier yet unique cycling events.

Ocooch Mountains?? “Ocooch Mountains” are the centuries old name for the unglaciated territory of southwest Wisconsin. In the heart of this region is the coulee valley; an area that encompasses the ridges and deep, narrow hollows surrounding La Crosse, WI and the counties east of the Mississippi River. Tour de Coulee aims to celebrate this challenging terrain by providing exceptional cycling opportunities and multiple distances to accommodate the interests of all skill levels of cycling enthusiasts from novice to expert.

Select your ride from any one of three distances, even the most discerning of cyclists can test their stamina and see if they have what it takes.

Designed as a challenging early season ride, Tour de Coulee is guaranteed to please even the most discerning of riders. Select the VIP entry level to be pampered with the luxury of services typically offered to riders of the Grand Tours. Or, if you’re more self sufficient, enter the Standard category to get your ride on and save $30. We look forward to seeing you on the roads of Wisconsin!
