The 2018 edition of the Tour of Napa Valley will represent the Eagle Cycling Club’s 42nd year producing this premier event.

In keeping with our theme of “Pour It On,” we invite you to join us in “pouring on” the fun, be it cruising through idealic vineyard countryside, perhaps spotting a Bald Eagle over Lake Hennessey, blasting over the rollers alongside Lake Berryessa, chatting with our rest stop volunteers as you enjoy homemade cookies, exulting in reaching the top of the iconic Ink Grade, then taking in the views of the valley from White Cottage Road and finally, enjoying a barbeque lunch washed down by beer and/or local wine.

The Tour of Napa Valley is entirely organized and staffed by Eagle members and volunteers and is the primary source of fundraising for the club. The Eagle Cycling Club returns most of the proceeds from the Tour back to the local community in the form of charitable grants.

Because of extensive rain, earthquake, and fire damage to Mt. Veeder Road over the last two years, we are unable to use Mt. Veeder Road for this year’s century route. To replace the lost Mount Veeder mileage, we have added a loop through Calistoga to the northernmost reaches of Napa Valley, an area not featured for many years in the Tour of Napa Valley.

Rest stops are provided approximately every 20 mi. for all routes, supplied with water and are stocked with home baked cookies, bagels, potatoes, fresh fruit, and other refreshments. Please carry a water bottle into the rest stops, we will have no disposable cups in the interest of conservation. A detailed route sheet with map and mileage is provided for each route, as well as road direction arrows and radio dispatched SAG support. We are committed to providing you with a safe and enjoyable century.
