Cache Gran Fondo

New for 2018, a 70+ mile route added to our 100 & 50 mile courses through beautiful Cache Valley, Utah.

The Cache Gran Fondo is an annual Italian-style ride and is not officially timed. Proceeds from the ride go toward funding breast cancer screenings for women who live in Cache Valley.

Always the 2nd Saturday in July, the Cache Gran Fondo provides a mostly-flat, (except for a hill challenge in each), course through one of northern Utah's best-kept cycling secrets, Cache Valley, Utah. many riders join us for their first century, the challenge of a 50-miler, or as a training ride for bigger events like LOTOJA.

Targeted support stations on the 100-mile course will be located in Trenton, Newton, Mendon (twice), and Mantua, (OR Weston, ID, Malad, ID, and Riverside, UT). The 50-mile course will have support stations in Trenton, Newton, and Mendon.

Stay-tuned for final route details, but plans are to add an additional loop to the 50-mile course, and send riders through Trenton, to Lewiston north and then back south to Newton. The loop will be a very flat and open course through the farm-lands of northern Cache Valley. Based on early registration numbers, this new route is looking to be a favorite distance in 2018.

Support stations will have water, Pepsi products like Gatorade and RockStar, baked goods, fresh fruit, PROBAR items, and quick-grab snacks.  Please make sure to say thanks to the many volunteers that have come out to make sure you are fueled up on your ride.  Each support station will also have portable bathrooms.

Every rider receives a t-shirt, breakfast and lunch, free photography (post event), a chance to win great prizes.  We feed you, keep you hydrated and supported, and throw in some entertainment as well.  Big BLINGY finisher metal is also included.
