Mainly Recreational. Partially Competitive. Entirely Awesome.
Situated midway between Washington D.C. and Richmond along the I-95 corridor, you’ll never run out of things to do in Fredericksburg. From visiting battlefields, museums and George Washington’s boyhood home to exploring the historic downtown with its brick sidewalks, one-of-a-kind restaurants, art galleries, ghost tours, beautiful private homes and numerous specialty, craft and antique shops in restored 18th- and 19th-century buildings.
The event starts and finishes in downtown’s Old Mill Park on the banks of the Rappahannock River and features gently rolling hills throughout Stafford and Spotsylvania counties and past Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, marking the spot of four bloody Civil War battles.
Fondo Cycling Circuit USA is a six-city event series attracting both recreational and competitive cyclists who compete in one of three distances: 30 miles, 50 miles or 75 miles.
While more recreational in nature, several timed sections along each route offer a competitive element for cyclists looking for a challenge. In the end, it’s all about personal achievement!
The two-day event is comprised of a retail expo, athlete check-in and late registration on Saturday followed by the rides on Sunday. Each FCCUSA event culminates with a food truck & craft beer festival and live music.
Each registered cyclist receives a t-shirt, sling bag, finisher medal, water bottle, tickets to the food trucks and craft beer, plus other amenities.
Price increases after September 20.
