Fondo on the Palouse showcases the rolling hills of the Palouse and its local communities. All routes begin in Moscow, Idaho before traversing through the local communities of Troy, Deary, Princeton, Potlatch, Palouse, Colfax and Pullman. Ride options range from 15 to 100 miles.

T-Jay Clevenger, founder of the Fondo on the Palouse, envisions a large event with routes for both competitive and non-competitive cyclists. The event currently has three routes to challenge all pariticpants.

The Family Fondo is a 15 mile route beginning in Moscow Idaho and ending in Troy, Idaho. There will be shuttles to take participants and their bikes from Troy our to Potaltch to enjoy Potlatch Community Days or back to Moscow so they can visit the Farmers Market. The shuttles run every hour.

The Potlatch Fondo is a 50 mile route beginning in Moscow Idaho, passing through Troy, Deary, and Princeton Idaho ending in Potlatch, Idaho. Fondo participants will be able to enjoy community events that will be happening at Potlatch Community Days. There will be shuttles that take rides back from Potlatch Community Days to Moscow so they can visit the Farmers Market. The shuttles run ever

The Moscow Fondo is a 100 mile route beginning in Moscow Idaho, passing through Troy, Deary, Princeton and Potlatch Idaho before continuing on to Colfax and Pullman Washington. From Pullman cyclist complete the last leg of the Fondo returning to Moscow.

All aid stations will have water, Hammer products, bananas & oranges, and at least one form of protein.

There will be Two Support And Gear (SAG) vehicles following both the Potlatch Fondo course and Moscow Fondo course. They will have tires, tubes, general mechanical gear and a mechanic to help support riders.

Fondo on the Palouse provides an opportunity to engage, entertain and support local communities, non-profits and individuals of the Palouse through the active and healthy lifestyle of touring by bicycle.

After the Fondo’s closing ceremonies participants are invited to attend the Rendezvous in the Park. All Fondo participants will receive a voucher for a discounted Rendezvous in the Park ticket.

The Fondo on the Palouse supports the Latah Trail Foundation. The Latah Trail Foundation (LTF) was founded in the spring of 1998, by a handful of people
with a vision for safe, non-motorized transportation and recreation along the former Moscow-Arrow rail line.

With a mission to preserve the historic Moscow-Arrow railroad corridor for non-motorized recreational and transportation uses for Latah County, its residents and visitors, and to provide Latah County and its communities with support to provide this physical connection to their past and open an avenue for their future.

Local non-profits also benefit from the Fondo.  Each non-profit that volunteers at an aid station earns a cash donation from the Fondo on the Palouse.
