REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 1ST.

The THIRD annual Gran Fondo Santa Clarita is coming up and whether you're a serious rider or just a beginner, this is an event you definitely won't want to miss! Brought to you by Santa Clarita Velo and Road Bike Action; this one-day, chip-timed event will bring together cyclists from throughout California who seek to challenge themselves on the beautiful roads, rolling hills, and mountains of Santa Clarita Valley and beyond.

The Gran Fondo Santa Clarita is a world class cycling event that showcases the beautiful and quiet canyon roads adjacent to the City of Santa Clarita.

There will be numerous event sag vehicles providing safety to our riders. These Vehicles will be marked. These vehicles will be able to assist riders in need of support. Please note that you are not allowed to have your own private sag on the route or private feeds outside of feed zones. 

EVENT BREAKDOWN

• Three routes to choose for all levels of riders: 100, 60, and 20 mile routes (Black, Red, Green) for riders of all skill levels, from beginner to pro.

• Color coded On-Course Signage.

• If you have mechanical issues there will be professional mechanics on hand at the start of the event and on-course support throughout the ride.

• Six SAG/ Feed zones with fuel from Bonk Breaker and hydration by GQ6

• Prizes & Raffle Drawing after event (Enter for a chance to win some sweet gear & products!)

• Gran Fondo Santa Clarita is on rain or shine!

• Post-Ride Beer Garden!

• Post-Ride lunch!

• Professional Emcee by Bob Roll and Jim Miller

• All day Kids Course on the grass at the expo for family fun

• Each rider will receive a Gran Fondo Santa Clarita Musette Bag with nifty swag inside! Medio and Gran route finishers will receive a Commemorative Pint Glass.

Gran Fondo Santa Clarita is proud to be benefiting the Davis Phinney Foundation. The Davis Phinney Foundation was established to support and help people battling Parkinson's disease. If you are not familiar with Davis, he is one of the Pioneer's of US Road cycling and in the mid-80's was one of the very top sprinters in the world. Davis, along with his 7-Eleven Cycling Team members were the first US based team to represent the United States in events like the Tour de France and Giro d' Italia. A generous portion of our proceeds go directly to the Davis Phinney Foundation.
