Lancaster Country Ride

Join us for our 20th anniversary!  Make plans for a fabulous day of Texas springtime cycling in the beautiful countryside fifteen minutes south of downtown Dallas!  The Greater Dallas Bicyclists, together with the City of Lancaster, will be staging the Lancaster Country Ride.

Be a part of our rally and ride the scenic back roads of Ellis County visiting the small communities of Ferris and Palmer. The routes traverse flats, rolling hills and some challenging climbs. Rest stops are situated every 12 miles with water, sports drink and fruit. The ride is held near the peak of the wildflower season and the routes feature gorgeous landscapes with dense concentrations of Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush.

The first 1,000 registrants receive Lancaster GDB socks!

Come early to purchase ($6.00) pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice from the Boy Scouts. They will be at the First United Methodist Church, 201 South Dallas Avenue, across the street from the town square starting at 7am - 10am.

Registration - $25.

Late registration (after April 6) - $30.

Rally day registration - $35.

Members of the Greater Dallas Bicyclists receive a $10 discount on the registration fee (except rally day registration). This is a great opportunity to join GDB and save money on one of Texas' great bicycle rallies. Club membership is only $20 per year.
