The New Forest Rattler is the original New Forest Sportive, in the stunning New Forest National Park.
Set up in 2012 by a passionate cyclist, this family-run event puts the rider in the heart of everything it does.
The event evolved in 2019 when Triathlete Kelly got involved and decided it was too much of a great opportunity not to spend the weekend swimming, cycling, running and camping with friends!
The Cycle gives you three route options to choose; 47 miles, 82 miles or the Epic 100 miles. Each route takes in the very best of the New Forest where you will encounter the famous free roaming wildlife. Ponies, pigs, deer and cows all roam free in the New Forest so don't be surprised if there are a few ponies chilling out in the middle of the road.
The ride is fully supported with a mechanic, medics, feed stations and well sign posted route. You will be rewarded at the end with a fantastic medal.

This event will also be supporting Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. HIOWAA is an independent Charity that brings an advanced Critical Care Team to the most seriously ill and injured patients in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, giving them the best chance of survival and recovery, when the worst happens. It currently costs £15,000 a day to maintain their life saving service.
