Paris to Ancaster (Gravel)

Inspired by the Paris to Roubaix, the Paris to Ancaster combines unpredictable weather, rough terrain and has become Canada's Spring Cycling Classic!

For over a century the roads of northern Europe have been home to the toughest bicycle races in the world. The most famous of these, Paris to Roubaix, takes place each spring over brutal cobblestone roads that have been preserved in their historic condition for over 100 years.

Inspired by this classic race, the Paris to Ancaster takes place over the roughest farm lanes, trails and gravel roads we can find. Combined with unpredictable spring weather and the largest field of riders assembled in Canada, it has become a classic race experience for everyone from average riders to Canadian Olympians. 

We offer three great events - the 70 km Paris to Ancaster, the 40 km St. George to Ancaster, which follows the final 40 km of the Paris Ancaster course, and a 20 km route.

The 40 km offers all the same benefits as the 70 km, including lots of fun and challenging terrain (eg Jack's Dirt Chute, the Prenderlaan, the Powerline Road Mud Slide, Martins Road Hill), with just a little less pain than the full 70 km route.

To round out the line up there is a 20K Family Ride. It starts at Bishop Tonnos High School in Ancaster at 10 o'clock.

Early bird - $70 for 70 km, $50 for 40km and $30 for 20km to Jan. 2

Regular - $80 for 70 km, $55 for 40km and $30 for 20km to March 1

Late - $90 for 70 km, $65 for 40km and $30 for 20km to April 23
