San Diego Century

Join us for the 12th Annual San Diego Century! Take on one of 3 beautiful courses for a challenging and rewarding cycling experience on San Diego’s most scenic routes 33, 67 or 105 miles.

Choose a course and join 2000 of your cycling friends for a ride through the beautiful hills of San Diego County and a finish-line expo in Encinitas.

THREE DISTANCES - 37-mile ride around Lake Hodges or a 66-mile ride that continues up to Poway, or a 103-mile ride that follows the first two and then climbs up past Mt. Woodson to Ramona.  The rides all have hills and require good fitness and bike handling.

We Dare You To Climb The Purple Monster!

Your official time will live forever.
Continuing in 2018: every 105 mile rider will have a timing chip and get an official time on the Purple Monster Climb.  Get your bike and your legs ready to bring your best to mile 48.  105 mile riders will hit the Purple Monster Climb approximately 48.5 miles from the start at MiraCosta College. The climb is about 1.7 miles long with a 7% grade.

You won’t forget the Purple Monster medal you receive at the finish line.

All courses are fully supported with start/finish support, aid station support and on course support.  Each rider receives Expo food tickets for the Food Trucks at the finish line Expo.

Registered Riders Receive: SDC premiums, well-stocked SAG stops every 15-20 miles, individual course bracelet, very well-marked courses, mobile SAGs with mechanical support, shuttle to MCC for DNF, route slips (cue sheets), finishers' medal, lunch and Finish Party at MCC.

Prices rise as the event approaches and a jersey can be bundled with registration.
