The Sea Gull Century starts and finishes at Salisbury University and offers two routes with different colored seagulls marking the way:

The Assateague Ride (white gulls) is 100 miles and goes down to the beach. Here riders can see the picturesque Atlantic Ocean and wild ponies that live on Assateague Island.

The Princess Anne Metric Ride (yellow gulls) is 65 miles / 100 km through Somerset County.

Registration is $75 to September 1.

WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION INCLUDE?

  • The official SGC rider long-sleeve shirt
  • Rider Number
  • On-site tech and first aid
  • SAG service during the ride
  • Friday night free reception party
  • Refreshments at rest stops
  • Saturday lawn party and music (cash sales of food and drink)

The cost to register for Sea Gull Century is $75 and includes a long sleeve t-shirt, course support, food and beverage at all rest stops, and a Friday evening welcome reception. Registration prices will increase to $90 on September 7. Registration will be $90 until September 28 AT CLOSE OF BUSINESS (5 PM Eastern Standard Time). There is no day of registration, but you can register IN PERSON at Maggs gym Friday October 5th until 7 PM.

Each year, Sea Gull Century proceeds benefit dozens of non-profit organizations, such as the Delmarva Discovery Center, local fire departments and EMT’s, Women Supporting Women, local elementary schools, Salisbury Zoo, American Red Cross, Children’s Literature Festival, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Relay for Life and and the League of American Bicyclists.
