130km/2298m climb (80 miles/7562’) or
90km/1482m climb (55 miles/4862’)

RIDE our new High Peak homage to the oldest and hardest monument of them all, Liege-Bastogne-Liege. Dramatic, high peakland scenery, hidden lanes and memorable climbs, our climber’s classic is a tough day out in the same vein as the Ardennes monument it emulates.

Return to the HQ by 14:30 and you’ll be able to watch the last hour of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege men’s race (Covid restrictions permitting). HQ closes: 16:30.

Sheffield-Buxton-Sheffield is a non-competitive ride with a friendly atmosphere run by local cycling organisers.

“Take a map of the area between Sheffield and the High Peak, throw a dart at it, and you’ll hit a hill.” Simon Warren (100 Climbs).

The full route takes you up at least TEN climbs including: Monsal Head, Mam Tor (Mam Nick from the south), Stanage and Abney (the shorter route has five big climbs but does not include Monsal Head).
You’ll ride short sections of what Band of Climbers chose as the “Toughest 100km in the UK.”

Many of the climbs are our own personal favourites and some you may never have tackled before.

Includes entry into a Prize Draw: With a top prize of at least £150 in value.
NB. The routes will not be signposted; you will be following a GPS file and/or a printed route sheet.
