Bike Monkey, Peter Stetina and High Fives have teamed up to create a brand new multi-stage opt-in road race. Introducing the "Road Rally", the perfect mix of competition and camaraderie.

We score specific "segments" through a single day, but not the entire route from start to finish. Competing on segments is optional. The best cumulative times across all segments for the day are deemed the winners. Individual and combined segments are awarded.

2 ROUTE OPTIONS

We begin at the uncompromising Northstar resort just outside of Truckee, California. Our journey takes us up and over Brockway summit. There are two routes to choose from. The "Express" is a solid ride with 40 miles of beautiful lake vistas and 3,600' of elevation gain. There are no prizes for competition on the Express route.

The "Intrepid" includes the full road rally competition format of the event and several timed segments along your way. You will continue on to descend highway 50 into the stunning Nevada desert.

After rolling north through Carson and the outskirts of Reno, Nevada you will tackle the sixteen and a half mile climb over Mount Rose, 11 miles of which will be timed.
