The Jensie Gran Fondo of Marin

An extraordinary day on the bike in Marin County.

You can expect an awesome day with Jens Voigt, the most fun guy in pro cycling. If you’re lucky he will let you suffer on his wheel.

You’ll be treated to a ProTour level experience with neutral support along the way and before the ride. You’ll travel along the world-class roads of Marin County, with notable views of Alpine Dam, Mount Tam, Stinson Beach, Bolinas, Point Reyes and Tomales Bay. We’ll keep you fueled along the way with fully staffed and stocked service stops including amazing food from Marin’s local food purveyors.

Our routes will converge at the Point Reyes Station Grand Stop. At the grand stop you will be treated to the best of what Marin has to offer from food, music and amazing sights. You’ll have the opportunity to freshen up and take a shower after the ride and enjoy the Gran Fondo village where you will be treated to a Jensie inspired recovery meal and local brew- on-stage performances and special appearances.

In addition you will receive a swag bag that includes a Gran Fondo gift bag, the official Gran Fondo rider manual, goodies from our participating sponsors and a Jensie Gran Fondo commemorative water bottle.

SHUT UP LEGS ROUTE
This route will offer a challenging route - you’ll climb some of the best mountains in Northern California. It will show you the most breathtaking views that the west coast has to offer. Including Mount Tam, Stinson Beach, Alpine Dam and Bolinas to name a few. Expect to be challenged all the way to the finish, as the rolling terrain is beautiful but also relentless.

PRESIDENTIAL ROUTE
This route will incorporate the challenging climbs of the Shut Up Legs route, with an abbreviated finish. Expect some of the breathtaking views as well. This route will have its challenges early on in the ride with the majority of the climbing complete when you hit mile 52.

BREAKAWAY ROUTE

Breakaway riders will work there way through the famous redwoods of Samuel P Taylor Park. Views will not be missed with the climb and descent into Olema. In addition you will ride the coast highway and cross through the beautiful Nicasio Valley.
